For those of you who don’t know me, I am one of the co-founders and now sole owner of The Montessori Tree. Last year brought a lot of unexpected changes, as you know, and among them the news that my business partner would be moving on. In addition to the pandemic, this was unsettling for me to say the least, and I have been absent from this site for a while as I’ve been contemplating the future of The Montessori Tree (and trying to maintain my sanity as a working mom during a pandemic!)
My partner and I had dreams of running multiple programs, though I am currently focusing solely on keeping my home-based toddler program going which I’m grateful to say I’ve managed to do thus far! I have a small, but beautiful community and I’m so thankful for the support of my families in keeping this program going. I look forward to expanding my program again someday, and will continue to explore other possibilities as well. While I do so, the website will likely go through some changes, but, my core values of connection, compassion and respect remain the same.
Thank you all for your interest and support, and thank you in advance for your patience as I try to figure out what I’m doing. I’ll likely use this space to share my journey of exploration and, whether you’re a Montessori guide or a parent, I would love for you to follow along, or better yet, reach out. I’d love to hear from you!
